1. About Astrum Voyages
Astrum Voyages is a trade name of Astrum Travel LLC, based in the Dallas area of Texas. Astrum Travel LLC is an Independent Affiliate of The Curated Travel Collection. Jennifer Fichtner is our Luxury Travel Designer. By requesting our services or making a booking through us, you agree to these terms.
2. Our role
We design journeys and arrange travel services on your behalf. The hotels, cruise lines, airlines, tour operators, and other providers who deliver your travel ("suppliers") are independent companies. We act as an agent only and do not own, operate, or control any supplier. Each supplier has its own terms and conditions, which apply to your booking, and we encourage you to review them.
3. Design packages
Every journey begins with a design package, which covers the time and expertise involved in researching, designing, and arranging your travel. Design packages begin at $500 and vary with the scope of your journey. Design package payments are processed through our host agency, The Curated Travel Collection. Design packages are earned when work begins and are non-refundable, including if you cancel or do not travel. Additional fees may apply for significant changes after your journey is confirmed; we will always tell you before any fee is charged.
4. Payments
Payments for your travel, including deposits and final payments, are made directly to each supplier, and the charge will appear from that supplier on your statement. Payment schedules are set by each supplier, and we will share them with you. Prices are not guaranteed until paid in full, and suppliers may change prices, taxes, or fees before final payment. Late payment may result in cancellation by the supplier and loss of deposits.
5. Changes and cancellations
Changes and cancellations are subject to each supplier's policies, which may include penalties or non-refundable charges. Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change. Refunds, when available, are issued according to supplier policies and timelines.
6. Your responsibilities
Please review all confirmations and documents as soon as you receive them and tell us right away about any errors. Names on bookings must exactly match each traveler's passport or government ID. You are responsible for valid passports, visas, health requirements, and any entry or exit requirements for every destination, as well as for checking current travel advisories. We are happy to point you to official resources, but requirements can change at any time.
7. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation, medical, and evacuation coverage, purchased soon after your first payment. If you choose not to purchase insurance, you accept responsibility for any losses that insurance could have covered. Coverage decisions are made solely by the insurance provider.
8. Travel risks
Travel involves risks, including weather, natural events, illness, strikes, political conditions, and changes beyond anyone's control. While we design every journey with care and will support you if something changes, we cannot guarantee that travel will proceed exactly as planned.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astrum Travel LLC is not responsible for the acts, errors, omissions, or failures of any supplier, or for events beyond our control, including delays, cancellations, injury, illness, loss, or damage. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount of the design package you paid us.
10. Photos and stories
With your permission only, we may share photos or stories from your journey. We never share client names without permission.
11. Privacy
How we collect and use your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
